I was raised in a small town in rural Ohio. My upbringing was rich with art and music.   Today home is the basis of my creative inspiration - from caring for our horses and dogs, taking walks in the woods, gardening, and by creating a beautiful space for my family to enjoy. Home is where I always find peace, joy and love.  I am blessed beyond measure.

I use many different mediums for my art. I love the bold colors and textures that I can create with acrylics.  I often tackle unique pieces such as rain barrels and barn quilts but also enjoy painting on canvases and drawing.   

I find my joy and inspiration in the peaceful natural setting around me. I love to paint florals with bold colors,  capture the rough grains of wood, the cool hard textures of stone,  the brilliance  of a sunrise or the warm glow of home at night.
